A Bird’s Delight
2 cups suet
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 cup cracked corn kernels
Melt suet in the oven or saucepan (yields about 2 cups liquid fat). Stir in peanuts, sunflower seedsand corn. Spoon into a 4-cup heart-shaped mold (or two 2-cup molds); insert a drinking straw at the top (for rope). Cool in the refrigerator until solid.
Unmold; remove straw. Thread with string and tie to a shaded tree branch.
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup flour
1/2 cup graded bread crumbs
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1/4 cup peanuts
1/2 tablespoon of thistle/niger seed
1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
1 cup water
Jar of peanut butter
Mix oatmeal, flour, graded bread crumbs, baking soda, thistle/nyger seed, water, and you’re peanuts into a large bowl and mix. Bake in a cupcake pan at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Take them out and let them cool. Then frost the top with peanut butter and put you’re sunflower seeds on top.

2 cups birdseed Baking paper
Place honey into a saucepan and simmer on high heat until honey bubbles then fill the bowl with the seed and slowly poor melted honey into the bowl. Mix the honey and seed mixture until it is very sticky and the seed is completely covered in honey. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and spoon the mixture onto the tray and flatten it out. Then score it and place in a fridge until it hardens. Place in bird cage your bird will love it.
