A number of water quality issues have been identified with regard
to the current water quality in the Vaal River system. Some are
related to the whole length of the Vaal River while others are
localized. The enforcement of pollution laws is ensuring that the
Department of Water and Environmental Affairs (DWEA) and local
municipalities are addressing these challenges. |
|
|
This enormous body of water is full of surprises, with a new one around almost every corner. It is relatively unexplored from a Largemouth Bass fishing point of view but in late 2008, fish of over 3 Kg were being taken on an almost daily basis. Finding the fish in such a huge body of water, larger than the country of Luxembourg, is the key, Gobassing.com will be watching it very closely in the future and we will bring you up to date data as it becomes available. |
