Vaalnest obtains a certificate for Participating in the Wine Service Training Program 2014/2015

On the 24th of November 2015 Vaalnest Attended the Wine Service Training graduation to honour the many candidates that completed the Wines Service Program.

The skills Program achievement award certificate was handed to Evodia Nkaupane for her outstanding skills in the Bar Attended sector. Her work at Vaalnest Boutique Hotel has been outstanding in the last couple of years and this year was no exception, her leadership skills and her ability to manage the food and beverage staff has escalated throughout Vaalnest. Overall we would like to congratulate her on her impressive skills and work ethic and wish her the very best in the hospitality industry. This certificate of honour serves as a reminder to Vaalnests staff that all can be achieved through hard work and dedication. The Wine Service Training Programme was initiated by the National Department of Tourism as an experimental hospitality training intervention targeting 270 unemployed youth in Gauteng and Western Cape. As part of the Expanded Public Works Programme the focus was on job creation and skilling of the selected beneficiaries.
